For 43 years, celebrities from the sports and entertainment fields hit the links for the fight against cancer at the annual Vince Lombardi Golf Classic. As one of the oldest two-day charity golf events in the United States, the Vince Lombardi Golf Classic doesn't just have history; it has tradition.
Bob Hope and President Gerald Ford helped establish the tradition and mystique of the Vince Lombardi Golf Classic in the 1970s and the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation is proud to carry on the legacy of Coach Vince Lombardi today. As the veteran sportswriter Bud Lea wrote in the Packer Plus, "This is all about helping thousands win battles that no longer serve as automatic defeats, the way they did 40 years ago.”
The Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation is proud to host the 43rd annual Vince Lombardi Golf Classic on Friday and Saturday, June 7-8, 2013, at North Hills Country Club in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Thank you for joining us. Your participation and generous support of the charity golf event raises important funds leading-edge cancer research and compassionate care at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinics throughout eastern Wisconsin; thus helping cancer patients, supporting families and building cancer awareness across our community.
