In 1971, the first Vince Lombardi Memorial Golf Classic was held to raise funds in support of cancer treatment and research in memory of legendary Coach Vince Lombardi, who lost his life to colorectal cancer in 1970. Since then, the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation has been raising money in the fight against cancer, hosting our flagship Lombardi Golf Classic annually. You are invited to join us June 5-6 as we celebrate 55 years of impact.
Golfers will have the opportunity to participate in an 18-hole practice tournament at our new golf venue, the Wisconsin Country Club, on Friday, June 5, before convening at the Pfister Hotel for our Golf Gala to find out which celebrity guest will join their foursome the next morning. Then, on Saturday, June 6, the excitement continues as you take to the course for an unforgettable 18-hole round alongside current and retired sports celebrities – creating lasting memories on and off the green.
Most importantly, all funds raised directly support programs working to prevent cancer, provide the best care to those fighting it, and find a cure through the work of the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation.
