Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation’s mission is to prevent cancer, provide superior patient care, and find a cure.
Founded in 1971 in memory of Vince Lombardi, who died the prior year from colorectal cancer, the Foundation has raised over $25 million to support cancer research and treatment programs. Each year, funds raised from events and other initiatives are awarded to cancer prevention initiatives, patient support programs, and innovative research projects.
The Foundation invites the community, whether located here in Milwaukee or across the nation, to partner in our work to further cancer research, support patients through all stages of their diagnosis, and raise awareness of cancer screening guidelines and risk factors.
